Today is my birthday…
And I didn’t receive a single hug, not because people are cruel, but because work sometimes takes us away from everything… from our comfort, our families, and the moments of warmth we long for.
I sat for a moment in this quiet corridor, after long, tiring hours, and I thought…
Despite the loneliness, and despite the tears that betrayed me, my heart is overflowing with love for everyone who crosses my path, for everyone I care for, and for everyone who places their trust in me during their most difficult moments.
My birthday today isn’t so much about celebration…
But about remembering:
Why did I choose this path?
And why do I still persevere despite all the exhaustion?
Because there are those who need a word, a touch of a hand, or even just a silent presence to comfort them.
And even if no one hugs me today… I send a big hug to everyone who reads these words, and to every heart that feels lonely like mine.
